From frontline carers and managers, to chefs, our Estates team and all those that work behind the scenes, every member of staff at St Joseph’s is dedicated to providing a high quality service at all times.

Whether providing personal care, organising activities, preparing meals, or ensuring the home is clean and well maintained, everyone works as a team and your care is our highest priority.

A welcome from the manager

I’ve worked at St Joseph’s for 18 years. I started as a carer on a dementia wing and worked my way up. I’ve got such a passion for St Josephs and honestly believe that I’ll be happy here until I retire.

St Joseph’s is like one big family. There’s a friendly, compassionate team here that all pulls together and helps one another out.

The support that staff give to residents and to one another never ceases to amaze me. That passion is shared amongst the staff, and the atmosphere shines through.

Here to help at every stage

I know that choosing a care home for a loved one is a massive step. However, we will be able to support along every step of the way. Even at the initial enquiry stage, when people are first ringing around care homes, I’ll help with anything I can.

I advise people to make the decision with their loved one if they can, so the resident feels some control over their own life. So they could take a respite placement first and get to experience St Joseph’s. If they like it, they can think about whether they’d like to stay. Once people get settled here, they remain settled.

If I was looking for a care home for one of my family members, I would want them to come to St Joseph’s.
